Pathoma is to understand the basics of path. Goljan is comprehensive and integrative (less about understanding, more focused on mastery). Pathoma omits a lot and Goljan covers more than you need to know.

Yes its enough. I did both actually. I studied Goljan book with pathoma videos which helped to stick to important things. Pathoma is concise and just enough for the USMLE.

Yes, far more than enough. 85% of the drug questions on step 1 were fairly straight forward, I thought. Yeah exactly. There ARE horror stories of Pharm heavy Step 1 tests (just like there can be micro heavy Step 1’s) ” it just depends on how the test generates that day, but those are really an exception, not the rule.
